Marvin Lewis grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. He's been an amateur (ham) radio operator since age 11 and developed his aptitude for electronics since then.
In 1980, Mr. Lewis received a B.A. in audio engineering from Indiana University, then worked in recording studios and radio stations for the next 9 years. He then decided he wanted to do something more important with his electronic and acoustics experience and skills, so he went back to college and earned a master’s degree (M.S.) in audiology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He continued his education at the Arizona School of Health Sciences and Earned a Doctorate in Audiology in 2005.
From there, Mr. Lewis wWorked in various ear, nose & throat clinics, hospitals, and private practices until ofunding his private practice, Echo Hearing and Audiology, which specializes in helping adults improve and protect their hearing, and communication skills.
His practice emphasizes using high tech hearing aids, and helping people get over their fear of hearing aids through “straight talk” and education.
